What's Up With Sales: Core
The Core team is focused on making a strong final push as we close out the year!
For starters, we recently did some account reorganization:
- Optimum LightPath is now handled by the Lisa Carpenter/Kyle Henchey team.
- WOW has the good fortune of now being handled by the Oberg/Carpenter/Henchey triumvirate.
- Maggie Fleming is working her old employer, Crown Castle, to open new doors, and is flying west to oversee our Canadian accounts, including Shaw, Telus, Sasktel, and Rogers.
- Dave Almaviva joined the Charter team, and is now additionally covering Armstrong.
Our Core sales team is beginning to engage with partners from the Enterprise group to better meet the needs of our customers. We have engaged with a key partner with deep roots in many of our Core accounts, to deliver proposals for transceivers to customers like Verizon Wireless, Cox Communications, and Comcast. We also are engaged with another key Enterprise customer to deliver proposals for Verizon and AT&T.
Core has gained significant momentum in our longstanding accounts, where we have begun to get deeper into their networks with our transceivers to expand partnerships, and as a result, revenue Most notably are:
- Verizon Dell server initiative and testing of ALU/Nokia with their wireless group.
- Cox CFP4s into the Cox Backbone Network.
- Charter – DWDM iTemp and DWDM passives to help Charter move their network from CWDM to DWDM.
- Sprint 10Gig for Tower Backhaul.
- Comporium QSFP28’s with CFP converters to provide them investment protection as they move to 100Gig.
- Expansion into 100Gig Transceivers in CableOne’s network.
